Laboratory Evaluation of Storage Stability for CRM Asphalt Binders
نویسندگان
چکیده
This paper conveys the laboratory investigation of storage stability CRM binder as a basic study. The was produced through wet process in laboratory. percentages crumb rubber used for rubberized were 5%, 10%, 15% and 20%. samples prepared according to ASTM D7173. In order evaluate properties each part binders, tests carried out rotational viscosity viscoelasticity, separation index assessed with G*/sin δ %rec. general, results this study revealed that (1) conditioned binders appeared have higher bottom compared middle top parts.; (2) similar results, after conditioning showed highest value part; (3) from MSCR test, Jnr % rec values are observed trend although some data not measured due load than DSR test; (4) it discovered SI generally suitable evaluating asphalt rec.

Laboratory Studies of the Effect of Recycled Glass Powder Additive on the Properties of Polymer Modified Asphalt Binders
In this paper, the effect of adding recycled glass powder (RGP) as a third component in polymer modified bitumen is studied. RGP and styrene butadiene rubber (SBR) is added to the base bitumen in order to prepare modified binders and mixtures. The initial study is performed to determine physical properties of unmodified, SBR modified and RGP-SBR modified asphalt binders which prove RGP's compat...

متن کاملPerformance Evaluation of Dynamic Modulus Predictive Models for Asphalt Mixtures
Dynamic modulus characterizes the viscoelastic behavior of asphalt materials and is the most important input parameter for design and rehabilitation of flexible pavements using Mechanistic–Empirical Pavement Design Guide (MEPDG). Laboratory determination of dynamic modulus is very expensive and time consuming. To overcome this challenge, several predictive models were developed to determine dyn...
